Welcome back, Andreas. > Ich you are not interested in technical work translation and good > documentation is heavily needed in my opinion. Very much so.
A quick update on GnuMed progress: - bootstrap* now does non-echoing password input - it auto-registers services if distributed - it has a way to specify schmema files to be imported into the template database, eg. account definitions: this can be used to supply Debian-desired PostgreSQL accounts complete with passwords, you just need to create a psql script on the fly from debconf - there's now bootstrap*.conf and migration*.conf the latter does not import any enumeration data which is helpful when migrating data via pg_dump/pg_restore - there's now two country-specific bootstrap*.conf files (DE and AU) already included - it now auto-sets the database language for the user upon client startup - client startup has been sped up (several seconds on my 300 MHz Laptop - there's two new plugins: - an xDT viewer for displaying German xDT-Standard text files (the stuff I mentioned in Bonn: LDT, BDT, KVDT, ADT, GDT, ...) - also works - a viewer for the document archive that actually works based on the currently selected patient :-) Karsten -- GPG key ID E4071346 @ wwwkeys.pgp.net E167 67FD A291 2BEA 73BD 4537 78B9 A9F9 E407 1346
