Dear Sebastian, Since chandler desktop is not specific to the medical field, I thik that it would not make sense to package it as part of the Debian-Med project. It would divert quite a lot of energy from our goals. Although it is not so efficient, the usual way for that kind of request is to fill a RFP (Request For Packaging) bug. But maybe you would increase your chances by CC'ing the request to a list such as debian-desktop for instance ? Despite it is not really on-topic for the debian-mentors list, you can also try to stimulate interest of Debian contributors there.
