Many thanks for catching my error! I think we should better use libgd2-xpm-dev, as I see no reason for disabling xpm support. (comitted) Also, emboss is compiled with the gd2-xpm flavour, so I guess that embassy could not be installed with emboss if we use noxpm ;) The build now goes fine as well in my pbuilder (I did not think that the latest emboss was already available as packages.debian.org still shows the old version…).
