Ahhhhhh, OK, that explains the situation.
It is not available for arm architecture , is it ?
Take file for example from here http://packages.debian.org/lenny/file
It shows more architectures including arm.
So I believe there is no repository I could apt-get from, right ?
No this conclusion is wrong because you are able to install a package
without recommends: Have a look at bug #473089
http://bugs.debian.org/473089
and the Ãpatch I provided to this bug report:
apt-get -o APT::Install-Recommends=false install gnumed-client
should perfectly install gnumed-client on any architecture.
The other solution is using equivs as I said in my last mail (and
as I said as well - I could explain in detail how to use it in case
it is necessary - just ask if something remains unclear).
The other option is: You are upstream yourself. If you declare
openoffice.org-writer is not important enough to declare it as
Recommends we reduce it to Suggests and everything is fine on
every architecture. The Debian-Med team can do nearly nothing
to port this package to every architecture because we will leave
this to the experts.
Kind regards
Andreas.
