That is interesting. My comment regarding pkg-escience was just meant to be funny. One thought I wanted to contribute to this thread is that Debian Med has already some positive reputation of providing working packages. I prefer to have some independent playground from which packages that are readier to upload may move to Debian Med at a later stage. Another question is if a too enormous list of contributors would not possibly pose a security risk, since everyone has access to every package. I like it as it is today.
