Hi all, I am getting very (very!) close to having netcdf-java in debian. One remaining issue is with the following file: cdm/src/main/java/net/jcip/annotations/GuardedBy.java
This file is distributed with a Creative Commons Attribution License version 2.5 license. However this license is not accepted in debian (main) because it is not compatible with DFSG [1]. It has been discussed in greater details here [2]. For more information on the status of CC-BY(-SA) 2.5 and previous one can see [3] or [4]. -- Now there are two ways to go: 1. remove this file and possibly replace with something else ? 2. ask the copyright holder to relicensed his/her work under a CC-BY(-SA) 3.0 license. What is the position of the netcdf-java team on this issue ?
