Hi Aaron,

I think ncbi-vdb version 3.0.0 is finished in Git. I'm just uploading it to
experimental (needs to pass new queue due to the changed binary names). I
tried building sra-sdk 3.0.0 against these packages but here the configure
step with cmake fails with

-- Found Java: /usr/bin/java (found version "11.0.16") found components:
Development.
-- Found Python3: /usr/bin/python3.10 (found version "3.10.5") found
components: Interpreter.
Using ncbi-vdb interfaces: /usr/include/ncbi-vdb/interfaces
CMake Error at build/env.cmake:241 (message):
VDB_LIBDIR="" does not exist - ncbi-vdb was not installed in that location.
VDB_LIBDIR variable pointing to the ncbi-vdb binary libraries must be
  specified.
Call Stack (most recent call first):
  CMakeLists.txt:47 (include)

I guess I could need another hint for cmake to continue here. ;-)

Kind regards

       Andreas.
