I'd take the indicated bits out of the package description: unless I'm
hacking on something, I don't really care what language it's written
in or what libraries it uses.  The source being portable across
platforms is only interesting if I can play multiplayer against my
uneducated friend who runs some non-Linux OS.  :-)  Otherwise, the
package description sounds pretty good.
