Hello all,

I am working on a package that uses po files, inherited from the
previous maintainer, and I am getting this during build:

po2debconf debian/clamav-daemon.templates > debian/clamav-daemon/DEBIAN/templates
Warning:Outdated PO file: debian/po/fr.po, running
  debconf-updatepo --podir=debian/po
WARNING: It seems that none of the files in POTFILES.in contain marked strings

What is a 'marked string' and how do I dig about to fix this? I am new
to po, so I'm sorry for asking, but I'm not sure where to start digging
for this error message.

I have looked through the /usr/share/doc stuff and info files, but I'm
just not seeing it. Cluebat?
