Hmm. I seem to be doing something seriously wrong. man is completely unuseable for me in uxterm with UTF-8 locale. http://www.logic.univie.ac.at/~ametzler/man_in_uxterm.png (5 KB) Checking man's output it does not recode at all. - Is there a simple gotcha I am missing? I am pretty sure my locale is basically ok, because tin and mutt work. cu andreas -- "See, I told you they'd listen to Reason," [SPOILER] Svfurlr fnlf, fuhggvat qbja gur juveyvat tha.
