there seems to be a problem with salsa repo, that causes the CI build to error out during git checkout (see [1]): > gbp:error: Error running git checkout: HEAD is now at 17d3878 > d/control: Replace deprecated appstream-util build-dep with > appstream. > This repository is configured for Git LFS but 'git-lfs' was not > found on your path. Please fix that so the CI can run its course. And then there's the change to the package itself. As already explained on the bug [2], replacing the build-dep on appstream-util with appstream makes no sense, unless data/meson.build is patched to actually make use of that. Otherwise the meson.build file keeps looking for appstream-util and simply skips the appstream validation part if that util is missing, leaving the new build-dependency unused so it could just as well have been omitted.
