Hello, I recently opened an ITP for rayforge #1137607
The package specific situation: I have identified several direct and indirect dependencies not in debian archives (not sure yet if this list is exhaustive): raygeo pyvips vtracer visioncortex flo_curves clipper2 rstar pyo3-stub-gen setuptools-git-versioning clipper2c-sys (new since ITP) clipper2 C++ (new since ITP) right now I (believe) have completed the work on https://github.com/heiserhorn/setuptools-git-versioning https://github.com/heiserhorn/rstar https://github.com/heiserhorn/flo_curves https://github.com/heiserhorn/Clipper2C regarding my packaging experience. I did package a couple of packages 15 year ago and the nothing. I sill have a GnuPG card with my key I am just waiting for a smartcard reader to see if I can use the same or I will create a new one. This looks more complicated than what I did in the past and it contains mainly Rust and Python packages. I would like to know: - what's the best way forward to upload the first dependencies (the four files mentioned above)? - should I reach out to the Rust Team for the relevant packages? - should I reach out to the Python Team for the relevant packages? Thanks Mike Michele Cane, PhD
