The old regex followed the git-archive endpoint, which never matched the orig tarball actually shipped. Let uscan symlink the orig rather than mangling the downloaded filename. * Update Standards-Version to 4.7.4. * debian/copyright: refresh years and restore the missing copyright holder name. * Bump debhelper compat to 14, adding dh-sequence-single-binary, which compat 14 no longer activates implicitly. * Add debian/upstream/metadata. * Drop the redundant -Wl,--as-needed from debian/rules; it has been the default since bullseye. * Drop Rules-Requires-Root: no; it is the dpkg default since 1.22.13. I am both the Debian maintainer and the upstream author of this package. Note on lintian: mentors.debian.net runs an older lintian, which reports recommended-field for the source Priority. Policy 4.7.3 (5.6.6) deprecates that field when it matches the default, so it has been dropped deliberately. Current lintian reports no warnings or errors on this package. Regards, -- Ramon Fried
