Thanks. The MR is ready as it is: https://salsa.debian.org/java-team/scala/-/merge_requests/2 All review comments are addressed except default-jdk, and that one is on purpose. Scala 2.12 cannot build its own library on JDK 26 (5 errors in Ordering.scala, https://github.com/scala/bug/issues/13127). Upstream fixed it only in 2.13 (https://github.com/scala/scala/pull/11175). With default-jdk, scala would FTBFS as soon as default-jdk moves to 26, so the build uses openjdk-25. Today both are the same JDK. If you still prefer default-jdk, it is a two line change.
