removed from lists, can't resubscribe.

        I seem to have been removed from private, devel, and users, french
language debian, and probably others. Curiously, I still get the user
digest.  I still get the german languae list. 
        I didn't receive any notification of any problems.
        I tried resubscribing.  I tried sending a message to the list
maintainer.
        It's been about a week.
        Anyone have an idea for next course of action ?
