Debian Project, I will be unable to be a maintainer. Please remove my account [EMAIL PROTECTED] and remove my PGP key from the list.
One of the primary reasons that I am unable to help is that I wanted to be a "part-time" or "casual" developer. This does not seem possible due to the massive amounts of e-mail reading required on both debian-private and debian-devel. These are both required reading for maintainers. I am overwhelmed and unable to filter this much information. Since the organization is unstructured in any authoritarian sense, the organization seems to require much activity to just keep up. I am not able to commit this much time. This is not meant as any kind of criticism, but as an explanation. I am trying to state what I see to be the relevant facts to why I am unable to participate, despite my desire to assist. I thought that by sharing this, it may (or may not) spark some discussion.
