Oh I see. It *is* easy to not notice that a package was for some reason considered to be a Debian only package. Of course, I use cvs-buildpackage so it's a bit easier to control with that. So what you need to do is release a -2 release, the changelog being something like: * use pristine upstream source Since this is -2, dpkg-buildpackage needs the '-sa' switch, so that it will be forced to re-upload the upstream tarball.
