Whee!? In an attempt to infringe on commercial free speech, I'm looking for a sponsor for a new package, "dnscruft".
It feeds bind9 a list of domains like: * doubleclick.net * googlesyndication.com and a plethora of other advertisers, spammers, win32 spyware spewers, phishers and other miscreants that waste a significant part of your bandwidth. It's not just an annoyance, it's freaking 20-33% of all http requests. This package uses a conservative database by default, but provides convenient means of adding custom, more aggressive lists. ITP: #366482. The package is foo-clean. URL: http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/d/dnscruft (of course, aptable from m.d.n.) Cheers. -- 1KB // Microsoft corollary to Hanlon's razor: // Never attribute to stupidity what can be // adequately explained by malice. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
