Dear people, Seeing as youtube-dl, a downloader of videos from youtube, has been bitrotting and was removed from testing (which means that it won't be part of the new release, all things equal), I went ahead and gave the package a facelift.
I would be happy if you could take a look at the package that I uploaded to mentors more than one month back: http://mentors.debian.net/cgi-bin/sponsor-pkglist?action=details;package=youtube-dl I think that it is mostly sane, but I would love too have it reviewed and, perhaps, sponsored. The last update of youtube-dl was approximately 1 year and a half ago, according to http://qa.debian.org/developer.php?login=edmo...@debian.org (of course, I'm CC'ing Robert, the maintainer here, but http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=491616 is not encouraging). (The version that I packaged has two changes of mine that were incorporated in upstream's source :-) ) Thanks, Rogério Brito. -- Rogério Brito : rbr...@{mackenzie,ime.usp}.br : GPG key 1024D/7C2CAEB8 http://www.ime.usp.br/~rbrito : http://meusite.mackenzie.com.br/rbrito Projects: algorithms.berlios.de : lame.sf.net : vrms.alioth.debian.org -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-mentors-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
