I think I'll just generate it in postinst so that it's always available. It doesn't take that long to do. > It's mentioned in locale(5) and environ(7). It's actually not mentioned in locale(5) at all, at least on my system. (Or in locale(7).) That was the first place I looked. It is mentioned, but not defined, in environ(7).
