Looks like your takeover request rejection was simply a communications
issue. I think the best approach is to get synergy2.sf.net maintained
again and merge everything from code.g.c/p/synergy-plus into synergy,
then shut down synergy-plus. Ultimately this is the best outcome for
the FLOSS community and is suggested by Debian Social Contract point
2.
