Not part of Debian but packaged for it is the KDE 3.x Trinity project. http://trinity.pearsoncomputing.net/ The packages for Debian there add a source.list.d file as you describe. (And it really confused me until I figured out what it had done. And once I realized that it did that I resolved not to use such packages. If they would do that then what other nasty business would they include that I didn't find?) Bob
