Hi,

scim-sunpinyin has been removed by its maintainer because
it is buggy and crashes. Please don't reintroduce it, there's
already ibus-sunpinyin that works perfectly.

Thanks for the information. However, I am not sure for this.
The sunpinyin project just update their scim support so that
the crash is gone. If any further bug is reported, I believe that
sunpinyin or scim guys are glad to fix it. I'll consider your
suggestion.

Thanks,

I happen to know both upstream author and Debian maintainer,
I would suggest you to deal with them about it, rather than
just discussing it in debian-mentors, and not decide to do
anything without them. I Cc:-ed both of them.
