I'm trying to create a first source package (without a previous none) and use this line in my build dir:
dpkg-source -b /path/to/package-7.23.1 It produces this error: dpkg-source: error: can't build with source format '3.0 (quilt)': no orig.tar file found In the parent directory (/path/to) I have these files and dirs: package-7.23.1/ package_7.23.1.orig.tar.gz Is there any way to get dpkg-source to tell the exact file it is looking for?
