BTW, I still don't see where you're getting this +14.04.20140109
tarball from. Ubuntu simply doesn't have this version packaged [1] in
its repository (I haven't checked PPAs, but they aren't relevant to
this discussion), so I'm afraid I don't understand why you're worried
about a version number collision here.

Again, please follow the instructions mentioned in devref 5.9.5,
"Adopting a package" [2], i.e. contact the MIA team.
