The Debian GNU/Linux Installation Guide for mipsel mentions booting 'sibyl', which is not evident on the netboot- and businesscard cds.

The formula which works for another distro (gNewSense) on mispel uses initrd and vmlinuz and some of the bsd's use similar (bsd.rd) methods.
