I do not know what it was with Buster, I would have to roll back the entire system to find out. The current installation is fully a Bullseye one. No other repositories are configured, nor are any non-Bullseye packages installed. So, no idea why the OpenGL is outdated. May be, it reports the version based on what the hardware supports it is running on? I am happy to test any temporary build of kodi you may want me to.
