Hi,
I've prepared the new version in Git[1]. Unfortunately the new version
is not ABI compatible with the current version in Debian and thus we
seem to need a SOVERSION bump[2] and a transition. (The API seems to be
unchanged so the transition should be smoothly.) Thus I intend to
upload to experimental first (the package needs to pass the new queue
due to a name change).
Before I do so I would welcome some review. I decided to also rename
the -dev package and drop the version from it (just libmad-dev).
