Summary: Accept Hello,
I had already sent a positive report for Fredrik; he had been put on hold temporarily on his own request after that, but before DAM approval. He is now resuming the NM process, and so I sent an updated report. This is a summary of the report. Fredrik knows C and C++ and has contributed to AbiWord. He has been working on an educational maths-program. His goals for Debian include packaging educational software, for Debian Jr. and Debian-Edu. In the short term, he has been packaging "tagtool", a software to manage mp3/ogg tags. 2. Identification ----------------- Fredrik first provided a signed scanned ID, but then met with Debian developer Turbo Fredriksson to get his key signed. 3a. Philosophy -------------- I asked him the NM HOWTO questions, he answered them satisfactorily. He certainly knows about DFSG, licenses, and the general Debian philosophy. 3b. Procedures -------------- I asked him the AM HOWTO questions about lintian, NMUs etc, he answered them all correctly. 4. Tasks and Skills ------------------- Fredrik has packaged mp3tagtool, his package is available at http://paranormal.se/~fredrik/fmfo/debian/. I've had a look at the package, and it is well done, including details such as Suggests, Build-Depends, or menu. Summary ------- Fredrik understands the Debian philosophy and is well skilled to maintain packages and participate in the Debian-Jr and Debian-Edu subprojects.
