I support Darren's application as DM. He has been doing a great job with maintaining the xine related packages (gxine, xine-lib and xine-ui). We have been working on these packages together for over a year. It was a real pleasure to work with him, and we are in close contact on #xine/Freenode. I fully trust Darren's abilities to package complicated packages like xine-lib. It would help me, the xine packages, Debian in total if he could upload the packages on his own.
