I support Sergio de Almeida Cipriano Junior <sergios...@riseup.net>'s request to become a Debian Maintainer. I have worked with Sergio de Almeida Cipriano Junior on Python, Ruby and Golang related packages for almost one year and I consider them as having sufficient technical competence. Sergio is a proactive, trustworthy contributor who is always seeking to learn more about the Debian project and improve his packaging skills. I sponsored a few packages for him and was able to closely follow his progress. I consider him ready to maintain the packages he created, and I know that he will keep studying to become a better packager and ask whenever he is unsure of something.
