I am a member of the Bananas and Rust Teams, the main maintainer of asahi-bless, asahi-btsync, asahi-nvram, asahi-wifisync, broot, dust, dysk, procs, speakersafetyd, tiny-dfr and of tens of dependencies, co-maintainer of bindgen and of the Bananas Team's packages, have worked on a number of transitions and library replacements in the Rust Team (two bindgen library updates, capstone, env_logger, procfs, users -> uzers, yaml-rust -> yaml-rust2) and have been involved in others (e.g. zbus).
I have been a contributor since May 2024 and a Debian Maintainer since January 2025. While I do believe I still have much to learn, I think I have been exposed to Debian's processes for long enough to be ready to take on more responsibility.
