Due to bug no 189944 (tagged unreproduceable now) I reported, I'm trying to run OOo 1.1beta2.
After installation, I run "ooffice1.1" at the command line for the first time. After reporting setup complete, it lauches openoffice.org. Then an empty window appears with the following info window ----8<---- OpenOffice.org cannot be started due to an error in accessing the OpenOffice.org configuration data. Please contact your system administrator. The following internal error has occurred: GetStorage, name: 'file:///home/bruce/.openoffice/1.1/user/config/soffice.cfg'OProviderImpl: No cache available - provider was already disposed. ----8<---- Indeed, there is no such file as "soffice.cfg" in my local directory.
