I have now build on debian sparc linux but using gcc-3.3 from gcc.gnu.org cvs 30/7/03 and soffice runs OK on sparc linux. The cvs diff against openoffice.org RC3 is attached at openoffice.org issue #17420. 2-aug-diff. I will try and file the required issues and patches later today.
There is a new gcc-3.3.1 from debian/unstable but i have not had time to try that yet. Next steps are to try a clean build to check everything works right. RC3 closes on 6 august so there will probably be some patches outstanding but they are few and small. Some of the diffs are compiler related and maybe are not needed after moving from 3.2.3 to 3.3 but it will tale some time for me to check those. jim
