OK, in that case you will be able to work around this problem by adding this line to /etc/openoffice/openoffice.conf: export SAL_DISABLE_CUPS=1 Also, please will you see if your crash occurs again if you replace /usr/lib/openoffice/program/libpsp645li.so with the version here: http://people.debian.org/~halls/openoffice/test/libpsp645li.so.bz2 It fixes several bugs in the printer parsing code. I'm downgrading to important on the assumption that you can use SAL_DISABLE_CUPS to work around the problem. Thanks, Chris
