Thanks Bastian and Corey for your analysis of this. The suggested fix doesn't undo the prelinking of the shared libraries, does it? Rene, please can you look at your changes and comment? I don't really understand why you made these exact changes and why you commented that section out; maybe you can remember. The revisions to compare are 1.10 to 1.10.2.1 of oooprelink. Chris
