Package: openoffice.org-bin
Version: 1.1.2-5
Severity: normal
Calc will not re-show a "hidden" column in other sheets than sheet 1.
To reproduce this bug:
- start OOo Calc
- go to sheet2 (or any other sheet2+)
- select a column, for example column C, by clicking on the "C" column
header
- click right mouse button on the same column header
- in the context menu, select "hide".
- re-right-click on the vertical line where the column was. There's no
"show" entry in the context-menu, it still only says "hide".
Workaround
There's no easy way to reshow the column. There is a workaround:
- right-click on the sheet name (Sheet2 in this example)
- select "move/copy sheet"
- in the popup, click "OK" (it says "insert before Sheet1", which is what
you want)
- now you can reshow the column by right-clicking the vertial bar where it's
hidden, pressing "show" in the context-menu.
This is a workaround, because it's quite non-trivial to do this with a
spread sheet if you've hidden a couple of columns.
This is a Debian-specific bug. I tested both OOo 1.1.2 and 1.1.3 from the
OpenOffice.org project web site, they both do not have this problem.

Hi!
I can't reproduce it on a Lenny system with version 3.0.1.
Feel free to reopen this bug if the bug still applies to you.
Thanks
