I am unable to open password protected documents with LibreOffice 3.4.5. This seems to be LibreOffice bug https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=45171
It is claimed that this only affects Ubuntu, see https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/+bug/919659 but it seems that it affects Debian as well.
