They raises from right to left instead from left to right. Sometimes the submenus are placed over the main menu, then it is impossible to read all options and make it inusable. I notice too that the new menus has no shadow. I use Copiz and all the apps are shadows on their menus, LibreOffice 3.4 and earlier version too, but 3.5 has not shadow at all.
