Debian is applying as a mentoring organization for the Summer 2021 of Open Source Promotion Plan (OSPP), which is a student outreach program similar to Outreachy and GSoC hosted by Institute of Software Chinese Academy of Sciences. This is the second year of the program and is the first time Debian has applied to participate.
This is a call for project proposals for the OSPP program. If you have a project idea related to Debian and can mentor (or can coordinate the mentorship with some Debian Developer) , please visit OSPP[1] Debian wiki pages and submit proposals as instructed. We encourage everybody to propose projects wherever possible, and we expect to receive submissions by June 13th, 2021.
