No, it too long, and it still does not explain what NCBI is. That said, I do not think that there is anything wrong with calling it "NCBI" (or maybe "NCBI tools"). As much as a biologist cannot be expected to know what GDB and SVN are, I cannot be expected to know what NCBI is. Menu is meant to provide a list of applications you have installed.
