Hello Otto, This is informative, not normative, so it doesn't need seconding.
For salsa, I got this wrong for a long time myself, so I am very much in
favour of adding an example. I don't think that it should be phrased as
*the* difference between the browse and clone URLs, though, because what
you've encoded is GitLab-specific. For example, with GitHub, the two
URLs are the same.
So how about replacing
