... and all the free JVM's/ compilers work fine on powerpc. Everything
is not implemented yet but you can have a try to:

. sablevm (runtime)
. kaffe (JDK)
. gij/gcj (runtime/ compiler)
. jikes (compiler)
. jamvm (runtime)
