I don't even know what package it's supposed to be in, so no. I ran ldconfig -v and it made these symlinks in /lib:
libdb.so.3 -> libdb-2.2.so libdb.so.2 -> libdb1-2.2.so However I still cannot compile a program that does -ldb.
