After researching the possibility of running xfree4 with accelerated graphics on my lombard powerbook (ati rage lt pro gfx chip) I discovered that the information available seems to be mostly linuxppc/yellowdog specific and it is also in fragments.
Could somebody please summarise the options available (which server/kernel is required etc.) for doing this in debian ? I am running debian unstable with bens 2.4.6 kernel. regards Boz
