Hello, I have successfully installed debian "potato" on a couple of RS/6000's model 7248 43P/100. I was having problems booting to the PReP boot disks -- they would hang when probing the scsi devices. To install I used a custom kernel (2.2.18 patched for the carolina motherboards and the e15 framebuffer); I then fed it the ramdisk and installed over the net. I would like to make some custom Debian install disks to make the process easier in the future. I replaced the kernel on the "rescue" disk and when I tried to give it a drivers disk it complained that I needed the "drivers" disk, not the "drivers14" disk. If someone could point me to some good documentation on creating these disks I would appreciate it.
Best regards, Ben
