Pismo LCD

I'm installing debian on a 400-Mhz Pismo, and I'm at the point at which 
it asks for the monitor's best video mode.  Since I remember hearing a 
few years ago that laptop LCDs can get damaged if the wrong settings are 
used, I thought I'd ask here before picking one thing or another.  Which 
settings are appropriate for the Pismo's screen?
