Hi,
I have read on several sites that it is possible to run Airport on
Debian. Since I'm a complete beginner, I would like to know if
somebody has already managed to do it, and if so, could he explain
quite precisely how he did it ?
Thanks in advance.
Quentin
Sure, install `wireless-tools` and use the `iwconfig` command to bring
up the interface. All the module selection changes should be done by
the configure part of dpkg so the correct modules get loaded as needed.
orinco, and two others on my pismo. You'll need to know the key for
your net as well and pass it as a parameter to `iwconfig` -- read the
man page.
It shouldn't be too hard.
