This question is more Mac-based rather than Debian-based. I hope this list will have some sage advice.
I have a Powerbook G3 Pismo (bronze keys) w/a 500 MHz G3 processor and 256 MB of RAM. It dual-boots sid and OS9. It is my primary laptop, but being 6 or 7 years old, it is getting a little long in the tooth. What upgrades are available for this? I have seen ads for G4 upgrade kits, but the pages I found were 3 or 4 years old. Is there anything that can be done to give this laptop a little more horsepower?
