To me this looks like something's wrong in there thus stopping the boot process ... If you can't login you might want to chroot or rescue-mode into your system ... chroot-ing into a Debian system, hopefully at least valid some time ago: http://lists.debian.org/debian-powerpc/2003/10/msg00262.html But it does not look to me as if you're on a Debian system: Fedora, Novell? ... :) If yes, I'd check their documentation.
